Devotion Mode is how I share my work off the internet ~
An analog playground for writing, art prints and experimentation, for the screen-weary and ephemera obsessed.
Each month, I send you a handmade letter and a small set of art postcards to your physical mailbox — one for you and perhaps a couple to mail to friends you haven’t seen or written to in awhile.
Writing themes tend to circle around my usual haunts:
dance, death work, art as ritual, creativity as a devotional practice, and how making things with our hands revives us when nothing else in the world seems to…
The structure

📬 One mailed edition per month, which includes one letter, and 2-3 distinct art postcards - based on what I’ve made that month
🗓 Join by the 25th to receive the current month’s mailing - if you join the club after the 25th, you’ll receive the following month’s edition

hi i'm melissa
I’m an artist, dancer, death doula, and reviver of creative spirits. I help people get free in their expression by clearing the inner flow of inspiration, and metabolizing grief so we can get about the work that’s our to make, in the time we have to make it.
Devotion Mode is for my people who crave beauty and inspiration and who use it as fuel to share their own magic more boldly and vividly.

When will my first letter arrive?
Devotion Mode ships once a month. If you join by the 25th, your first letter will be that month’s edition.
If you join after the 25th, your first letter will arrive the following month. Either way, your spot in the club begins as soon as you sign up.
When do the letters ship?
Mailings go out the last week of each month.
This is snail mail — we’re moving at the speed of hands, xeroxed paper, and the postal system. Please allow 7–10 days for delivery, depending on where you live. The wait is sexy, no?
How does billing work?
Devotion Mode is $13/month and auto-renews. This includes shipping.
You’re charged at signup, and then monthly on the same date after that.
You can cancel anytime — no bruised feelings.
What if my address changes?
Please reach out to me at [email protected] for address changes - I'm happy to set you up but I'll need to do it manually.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes — Devotion Mode is available for subscribers outside of the US.
The subscription rate is the same, for now.
Refunds? What about lost mail?
If you signed up before the 25th, and do not receive your letter after the 10th of the following month (shipments go out the last week of each month) please email me and I will replace your letter. I cannot offer refunds at this time, but you are welcome to cancel your subscription anytime. Thank you for supporting a solo-artist-run operation, your patronage means so much to me <3
